Community Organization

A communications function, rebuilt into a system.

How KimonoMono helped the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce turn scattered, inconsistent communications into a steady, measurable engine for community engagement.

Act 1

What We Did

The Situation

The Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce is a mission-driven organization serving and advancing Latino businesses across Berks County. Its membership was growing and its purpose was clear, but its public-facing communications had not kept pace with its ambitions.

The Friction

Strong purpose, no sustaining rhythm. The Chamber's presence was uneven and inconsistent, and its membership operations needed real systems rather than more one-off effort. The problem was not a lack of activity. It was the absence of an aligned, repeatable communications engine.

Act 2

How We Did It

The Approach

KimonoMono applied its Clarity Engine to the Chamber's communications. We began by learning the organization, its members, and the real gaps in its outreach. We built a plan: a foundational communications and brand infrastructure established in 2025. Through 2026 we moved into implementation, running a consistent cross-channel program. And we built in assessment, measuring performance honestly and feeding it back into the plan, which is what turns a one-time push into a sustainable engine.

What We Built
  • A brand new, modern, functional, on-brand website with significant scalability
  • A consistent communications rhythm across social media, email, website, and event promotion
  • A structured monthly newsletter program and a welcome email pathway
  • A new LinkedIn presence and a more active Facebook presence
  • Regular content, visuals, bilingual communications, and community visibility
  • Website updates, event pages, and digital content management, including support for the 222 Summer of Soccer initiative
  • Stronger membership infrastructure through improved JoinIt integration, easier member access, and greater active-member visibility via the website directory
  • Revenue-enabling communications support, including Telemundo / Nosotros Aqui prospectus development and advertising positioning
Act 3

What We Accomplished

60,655Facebook views
46.2%email open rate
172LinkedIn posts published
168Facebook posts published
31,189 Facebook reach ~9% LinkedIn engagement rate 98.6% email delivery rate

Data reflects the period from January 2026 to the end of June 2026.

Beyond the numbers, stakeholders reported a stronger, more professional, and more consistent public presence. This resulted in a renewed sense of community and energy amongst the Chamber's leadership and existing member base. Since marketing efforts were optimized, engagement across events was dramatically elevated.

What the Chamber experienced
A stronger, more professional, and more consistent public presence, week after week.

The partnership continues, with a growing emphasis on measurement, membership growth, event systems, and sponsor visibility, so the Chamber's communications keep compounding rather than resetting.
